Sunday as a day of rest, a day to honor and worship God and a day to commemorate our Lord Jesus Christ's resurrection.&nbsp; One of the ways we do this is to have the Lord's Day celebration within our families, small groups, and whole community.<\/p>\n      <\/div>\n    <\/section>\n    <section class=\"u-align-center u-clearfix u-container-align-center u-section-4\" id=\"carousel_9936\">\n      <div class=\"u-clearfix u-sheet u-valign-middle u-sheet-1\">\n        <h2 class=\"u-text u-text-1\">The Lord's Day Celebration<\/h2>\n        <div class=\"u-border-2 u-border-palette-3-base u-line u-line-horizontal u-line-1\"><\/div>\n        <p class=\"u-align-left u-text u-text-2\"> The Lord's Day Celebration is a short ceremony celebrated&nbsp;  on Saturday evening (usually at sundown), before and after the evening meal.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; It is celebrated in\n a spirit of joy and thanksgiving.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; With prayers, feast and \nfellowship, it help us prepare&nbsp; and welcome the Sabbath. &nbsp;&nbsp; There are \nelements of Jewish tradition incorporated in the ceremony&nbsp; but&nbsp; the \ncentral purpose is to honor and celebrate Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:8).&nbsp; For us Christians,&nbsp; Sunday is the Sabbath Day - a day of resting our minds and hearts in the Lord.<\/p>\n        <div class=\"u-video u-video-contain u-video-1\">\n u-line-horizontal u-line-1\"><\/div>\n        <p class=\"u-align-left u-text u-text-2\"> The candle represents the light of Christ that has come to extinguish the darkness in the world.&nbsp; The\n bread symbolizes the food that God faithfully provides to His people \nwhile the wine is a symbol of joy.&nbsp; It is important to note that the \nLord's Day Ceremony is not a Eucharistic Meal nor a Communion as \nCatholics have in t\u200bhe Mass.&nbsp;&nbsp; It is not a substitute for the Sacrament \nof the Eucharist.&nbsp; The Lord\u2019s Day ceremony helps us honor the Lord\u2019s Day\n and provide a framework from which we can continue the celebration \nthroughout the Lord\u2019s Day.\nWe hold Lord's Day celebrations in family, small groups or community-wide setting.<\/p>\n        <div
